Sono & Merlin Solar partner on panel and system integration

Sono Group N.V., a Germany-based solar technology firm, has partnered with US-headquartered Merlin Solar Technologies to expand their global market reach. Under the agreement, Sono will distribute Merlin’s solar panels in Europe, while Merlin will integrate Sono’s proprietary solar charge controllers and related components into its Mobile Power Solutions portfolio for North and South America. The collaboration brings together Merlin’s high-efficiency panels and Sono’s integrated hardware, software, and charging technologies. Designed to serve mobile and distributed energy applications, the collaboration aims to deliver complete PV solutions tailored to regional markets. Both companies will pursue joint product development and co-marketing strategies to strengthen their positions. This cross-continental arrangement reflects a coordinated approach to technology integration, supply, and deployment within the evolving global solar industry.
