China’s Solis, a PV inverter manufacturer, completed a 50 kW solar-plus-storage system at a commercial facility in Myanmar’s Yangon Region. The system featured a 70.8 kW solar array, a 50 kWh Longlast lithium battery bank, and the Solis S6-EH3P50K-H hybrid inverter. It powered lighting, air-conditioning, and IT backup systems. Key capabilities included <10 ms transition to off-grid mode, dual backup ports, diesel generator integration, and 1.6x overload support. The system ran in parallel with up to six units, expandable to ten. It supported dynamic pricing, energy arbitrage, and EMS integration. It reduced generator usage, improved energy efficiency, and increased reliability during outages, aiding commercial energy resilience in Myanmar. The hybrid inverter used in the Myanmar installation, Solis S6-EH3P50K-H, was also showcased during the Solis AI launch at Intersolar 2025.
