US-headquartered SolarEdge Technologies has announced that its US-made solar inverter portfolio met Build America, Buy America (BABA) Act requirements. This includes its planned 480 V Commercial & Industrial (C&I) product line. It enabled participation in federally funded projects and supported manufacturing in Florida and Texas. The approved portfolio included 480 V and 208 V Three Phase Inverters, Three Phase Inverters with Synergy Technology, Single Phase SolarEdge Home Hub inverters, and U650 Power Optimizers. Compliance helped developers and contractors meet federal project requirements while ensuring system performance, safety, and reliability. Industry experts noted the benefits of these solutions for federally funded projects. SolarEdge’s focus on US manufacturing contributed to the use of domestic solar technology in federal infrastructure projects and supported local jobs.
