Sigenergy, a China-based manufacturer of inverters and energy storage systems, has announced the structural completion of its $70 million smart manufacturing hub in Nantong, Jiangsu. The 7.67-hectare facility, covering 115,000 square meters, is designed to manufacture more than 300,000 units annually, including inverters, residential and commercial energy storage systems, and energy gateways. Sigenergy has stated that the hub’s layout was planned to integrate workshops, warehouses, an R&D center, and administrative offices within one connected base. The facility is designed with a fully digitalized closed-loop system, ensuring lifecycle quality traceability and operational efficiency across all processes. Sigenergy’s current portfolio has included the SigenStor 5-in-1 solar-storage-charging system, advanced C&I storage solutions, and residential hybrid inverters and microinverters. Earlier this year, Sigenergy deployed modular solar-storage systems for aquaculture projects in Hainan, demonstrating its application of integrated technologies across diversified markets. Sigenergy has emphasized that the Nantong hub is established as a core global base to support its international production strategy and meet rising distributed solar demand.
