Servotech Renewable Power System Ltd, an India-based solar solutions provider, has secured a ₹28.84 crore (~$3.17 million) order from the Jaipur Division of North Western Railway. The order was announced through an exchange filing and is for developing 7.3 MW rooftop solar capacity across multiple railway facilities in the division. According to Servotech Renewable Power System Ltd, the scope of work has included design, manufacturing, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of on-grid PV systems. Servotech Renewable Power System Ltd has been tasked with completing the project and ensuring its functional readiness as specified in the order. As per Indian Railways, rooftop solar deployment in Jaipur Division is part of its ongoing program to reduce electricity costs and optimize consumption. The Jaipur Division of North Western Railway has specified that the project is structured to add renewable generation capacity across key operational facilities. Earlier this year, Servotech Renewable Power System Ltd had acquired Rhine Solar to expand its photovoltaic module output, strengthening its overall manufacturing capabilities.
