Samaiden Group Bhd, a Malaysia-based renewable energy developer, announced its sub-subsidiary Legasi Suria Selatan Sdn Bhd (LSSSB) signed a PPA with Tenaga Nasional Bhd, a Malaysia’s national electricity utility. The special purpose vehicle Legasi Suria Selatan Sdn Bhd (LSSSB) is 70% owned by Samaiden Sdn Bhd (SSB), whish is a subsidiary of Samaiden Group Bhd through its wholly-owned subsidiary SSB. As per a filing with Bursa Malaysia, LSSSB will design, construct, own, operate, and maintain a 99.99 MW AC PV facility in Segamat, Johor. The project operates under the large-scale solar Petra 5+ programme with commercial operations set for Feb 29, 2028.
