Saif Textile Mills Limited, a Pakistan-based textile manufacturer headquartered in Islamabad and involved in spinning, dyeing, and surgical products, has signed a 10 MW solar power agreement with SkyElectricPvt. Ltd., a solar energy solutions provider also based in Islamabad. The agreement was signed during a ceremony attended by representatives of Saif Group, Saif Textile Mills, SkyElectric, and the banking sector. According to SkyElectric CEO Sohaib Sipra, the agreement has marked a step forward in the companies’ cooperation. Barrister Assad Saifullah Khan, CEO of Saif Textile Mills, said the project is expected to manage energy expenses, limit emissions, and improve supply reliability. The initiative is intended to reduce dependence on conventional fuels and add to Pakistan’s renewable energy development.
