RES, a global independent renewable energy company, has signed a contract with Repsol to provide operations and maintenance for 1.5 GW of solar projects in the United States. The portfolio includes the 825 MW Pinnington and 620 MW Outpost projects in Texas, plus the 120 MW Jicarilla I and II plants in New Mexico. Both states are important for solar growth in the country. RES has deployed a team to manage performance and keep operations reliable. The deal has also created new clean energy jobs in the region. With this agreement, RES has strengthened its role as a key O&M provider in large-scale solar.
