France-based Q ENERGY signed a long-term utility PPA with Alpiq to supply renewable electricity to industrial customers. The agreement covered two solar plants in Nouvelle-Aquitaine and PACA, starting January 1, 2026. The 15-year contract runs from 2026 to 2040 and covers about 345 GWh. Q ENERGY developed and built the plants. Alpiq France offers solutions like selling electricity under short- or long-term contracts and taking part in flexibility programs. The contract supports Alpiq France’s work on climate goals and supply reliability. Q ENERGY brings experience in PPAs and helps reduce industrial emissions through this agreement.
