PwC, UK based professional service providing firm, has stated that the integration of solar energy with eMobility has offered a significant opportunity to align clean power generation with vehicle charging needs. It noted that charging EVs during peak sunlight hours had reduced fossil-based electricity use and eased grid pressure. It explained that the mismatch between daytime solar output and evening charging habits had remained a core challenge. It added that increasing EV battery capacities had intensified grid impacts, making coordinated charging essential. PwC described how on-site solar, community systems and virtual renewable supply had supported cleaner charging across homes, workplaces and public hubs. It highlighted that most vehicles stayed parked during daylight, creating a large window for solar-aligned charging. It stated that smart charging, storage and energy-management systems had enabled better synchronisation between solar production and mobility demand.
