PV Hardware (PVH), a Spain-based solar tracker manufacturer, has secured a contract to supply trackers for the 376.26 MW Rabigh 2 PV Plant in Saudi Arabia. The project has been jointly developed by Al Jomaih Water and Electricity Company and TotalEnergies, with SEPCO International serving as the EPC contractor under the Kingdom’s National Renewable Energy Program aligned with Vision 2030. PVH will deliver its AxoneDuo Infinity trackers and Terrain Response technology, which have been designed to optimize performance in desert conditions and reduce installation costs. The Rabigh 2 project was awarded in the third round of NREP and has been expected to achieve one of the region’s lowest tariffs at $1.78 per kWh while generating electricity for over 200,000 homes. Earlier this year, PVH has also demonstrated its tracker capability to support 2° slopes, cut grading requirements by 90%, lower pile depth by 0.7 meters, and accelerate installation timelines by more than 40%.
