India-based Premier Energies has recently announced that its subsidiaries has secured fresh orders worth INR 2,703 crore(~ $324.36 million) for the supply of solar PV modules and cells with a total capacity of 2.059 GW. The contracts were awarded by independent power producers and domestic customers in India and were confirmed through a regulatory filing. The companystated that the agreements are one-time contracts and none of its promoters or group companies hold any interest in the awarding entities. According to Premier Energies, execution of the supply will take place over FY26 and FY27, with deliveries phased across the twofinancial years. Following the announcement, thePremierEnergiess share price gained over 1% in intra-day trade, though itremains down 24% year-to-date.
