PowerBank Corporation,US-based energy infrastructure developer, has announced that its 5.7 MW North Main St ground-mount solar project in upstate New York has successfully completed its Coordinated Electric System Interconnection Review. According to PowerBank Corporation, this milestone allows the project to advance toward the permitting phase, an essential step before financing and construction activities can begin. The project is expected to qualify under New York’s Value of Distributed Energy Resources mechanism with an estimated first-year average rate of US$0.0971 per kilowatt-hour. PowerBank Corporation stated that once permitted and financed, the project will operate as a community solar initiative, enabling households, renters, and businesses to subscribe and benefit from shared clean power.
