During Intersolar Europe 2025 in Munich, AIKO, a China-based photovoltaic module manufacturer, has signed 500 MW of supply agreements with Central and Eastern European partners. A 200 MW distribution deal was signed with Polytrade Global, which is based in Bucharest and provides EPC and electrical distribution services in the renewable energy sector. According to AIKO, Polytrade Global is set to distribute n-type ABC modules across Romania through its national and regional solar partner network. The agreement is expected to support AIKO’s entry into Romania, where the solar market has shown rapid year-on-year growth. AIKO has stated that securing 500 MW at the event highlights growing demand for its high-efficiency modules in CEE distributed solar markets.
