Italy-based Plenitude, through its US subsidiary Eni New Energy US Inc., has acquired a 49% equity stake in two solar farms. These include Sandrini 100 and Sandrini 200, as well as the under-construction Sandrini BESS storage facility in California. The facilities have a combined capacity of approximately 499 MW (DC). Plenitude's share amounts to 245 MW (DC). It increases the company's total installed capacity in the US to about 1.7 GW. EDP Renewables North America developed these projects. The partnership aims to strengthen energy infrastructure across North America. The transaction's completion is pending regulatory approvals. Plenitude is a subsidiary of Eni, focusing on renewable energy and electric vehicle charging. EDP Renewables North America manages renewable energy projects across the continent.
