The Philippine National Oil Company, a Taguig-based state energy agency, has launched a negotiated procurement for a 7 MW ground-mounted solar PV feasibility study. The project site is located at the Magapit Main Canal in Lal-lo, Cagayan, on land administered by the National Irrigation Administration. The contract, valued at PHP 10 million (~ $180,000), requires a 140-calendar-day study covering technical, financial, market, environmental, social, and management evaluations. As per the Philippine National Oil Company, this bidding comes after two rounds of failed bidding for the same scope. Interested bidders are required tosubmit initial proposals by 08 July 2025, and final bids are due by 15 July 2025. Qualifying firms must be Filipino or from a reciprocating country, and must have performed solar PV feasibility studies with a combined total of at least 1 MW.
