Natural Power, a UK-based renewable energy consultancy, has advised NTR on acquiring two renewable energy portfolios in Ireland for the L&G NTR Clean Power (Europe) Fund. The acquisitions include Project Monvallet, a 211 MW co-located solar and storage in County Louth, and Project Ballyteige, a 115 MW solar project in County Offaly. According to Natural Power, Project Monvallet is in the pre-construction phase, and assessments were conducted on planning conditions, land leases, geotechnical factors, site layout, and financial models. As per the company, Project Ballyteige, consisting of two solar installations, has secured grid connection and planning consent, with construction scheduled for 2027. Officials said that advice covered technology, environmental constraints, and financial feasibility. Natural Power has stated that it continues to support banks, developers, utilities, and investment funds in assessing renewable energy investments.
