Germany-based Meyer Burger Technology AG and OGT Solar, a distributor of solar products, has signed a supply agreement for high-performance solar modules made in Germany. These modules were produced at Meyer Burger’s Freiberg plant and will be used in the Italian market. Meyer Burger’s modules qualify for the highest incentive level, Category C, which requires EU manufacturing, bifacial EU-made cells, and at least 24 percent efficiency. OGT Solar chose these modules for their technical performance and EU origin, aligning with market demand and regulatory requirements in Italy.
