US-based Madison Energy Infrastructure completed the acquisition of NextEra Energy Resources’ distributed generation development platform. The deal included operating solar and energy storage assets, a project pipeline, and customers across 25 states. With the addition, Madison’s portfolio reached nearly 1 GW of operating clean energy assets serving businesses, schools, utilities, and other organizations. The acquisition followed Madison’s $800 million long-term debt facility, which supported its growth and expansion of clean energy solutions nationwide. The transaction strengthened Madison’s position in the distributed clean energy infrastructure sector.
