M10 Solar Equipment GmbH, a German-based innovator in solar module manufacturing technology, is headquartered in Freiburg. It has completed the first batch of 1,000 solar roof tiles using its Shingle Matrix Technology. The tiles were shipped to Switzerland for the country’s first BIPV project using shingled solar roof tiles. The initiative is part of the EU-funded SPHINX project, led by Fraunhofer ISE and supported by Freesuns, CSEM, Uniresearch B.V., VOLTEC SOLAR, and other partners. John Morello from Freesuns handled the packing at M10’s facility.
