Louth Callan, an American infrastructure development firm, has declared mechanical completion of the 28 MW Mousam River Solar Project in Sanford, Maine. Louth Callan has completed all civil, structural, and electrical construction, signaling the end of the construction phase of the Mousam River project and the beginning of the commissioning and energization phases. The 28 MW Mousam River Solar Project will supply electricity to thousands of local homes and businesses, in addition to creating substantial local jobs. Louth Callan diversified its business beyond solar to traditional power plants, transmission, substations, and geothermal projects to make its diversified portfolio stronger. Mousam River Solar Project completion solidified Louth Callan's expanding role in US utility-scale renewable energy development and larger infrastructure development markets. Earlier this year, Louth Callan Renewables had started a 27 MW solar project in New Hampshire with Brooks Construction, targeting completion by Q3 2026.
