LONGi Solar, a China-based manufacturer of PV modules, has signed a 102 MW supply agreement with a Finnish energy company to deliver its Hi-MO X10 back contact modules. The modules will be installed across hospitals, schools, shopping centers, and warehouses to reduce electricity costs and emissions. According to LONGi Solar, the portfolio is expected to cut annual CO₂ emissions by approximately 105,672 to 163,200 tons. The Hi-MO X10 module has achieved up to 24.8% efficiency and is well-suited to Finland’s cold climate and low-light conditions. Its structure is designed to withstand heavy snow loads, and its uniform design is compatible with Nordic architectural standards. LONGi Solar has stated that the module also performs effectively in shaded and off-grid conditions by minimizing hotspot risks and maintaining high energy yield.
