China-based LONGi hosted the “Empowering Kazakhstan’s Sustainable Future” PV technology seminar in Astana in August 2025. The event followed a commitment made during a March 2025 meeting in Beijing with Kazakhstan’s First Deputy Prime Minister and senior energy officials. The Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan invited LONGito share its expertise, and the seminar was attended by government representatives, energy specialists, and the German Agency for International Cooperation. LONGipresented its HPBC 2.0 cell, Hi-MO 9 modules, and “Photovoltaic +” strategy adapted to Kazakhstan’s energy needs. According to LONGi, these technologies can improve efficiency and performance under local climate conditions. James Jin, Regional President of LONGi, noted Kazakhstan’s potential for solar development. The Ministry of Energy acknowledged the seminar’s contribution to future policy formulation and cross-border energy cooperation.
