JMK Research, a consultancy from India specializing in energy, has reported Q1 2025 progress in India's inverter, module supply, and project development areas. Sungrow was the largest inverter supplier at 9.8 GW of shipments, followed by Sineng at 2.8 GW and FIMER at 1.9 GW. Waaree took the maximum module shipment percentage for the quarter with 17.3% contributing to India's overall solar module supply. On March 31, 2025, Adani, ReNew, NTPC, Greenko, and Avaada were the largest five developers in terms of commissioned and pipeline capacities. Combined commissioned capacity has risen by 7.9% since Q4 2024, showing consistent growth in India's utility-scale renewable market. These additions have shown consistent consolidation and scaling up in the solar supply chain for India's overall energy transition objectives.
