JinkoSolar’s three-month case study in Yazhou District, Sanya, Hainan, compared TOPCon and N-type BC bifacial modules under identical conditions. Each system included ten modules, with measured average powers of 634.15 W for TOPCon and 641.81 W for N-type BC. Monitoring from May to July 2025 included irradiance, energy yield, and module temperatures. Results showed TOPCon achieved a 3.6% higher overall yield than N-type BC. Performance ratios were 98.98% for TOPCon and 95.55% for N-type BC. Yield gains were greatest during early morning and late afternoon, reaching 11.25% and 7.62% respectively. Under low irradiance conditions, TOPCon consistently outperformed N-type BC, with a maximum advantage of 9.13% below 100 W/m². Lower bifaciality and weaker low-light response explained the reduced performance of N-type BC modules.Earlier to this, JinkoSolar sold part of its Jiangxi Jinko A shares in Shangrao, further aligning with its ongoing technology and project development efforts.
