Jinko Solar, a China-based PV module manufacturer, has confirmed it is supplying Tiger Neo modules for eight agrivoltaic plants across three Italian regions. The 50 MW project portfolio has been commissioned by Orchidea SPA, which is part of the KB Development group overseeing renewable energy initiatives in Italy. Construction is being carried out by ESAPRO, an Italian EPC firm with over 15 years of experience and a track record of developing more than 600 MW. According to ESAPRO, the sites are located in Veneto, Campania, and Calabria and will use 590 W, 595 W, and 720 W modules. The agrivoltaic systems are based on Italyโs generation 2.1 model, which is designed to allow continuous agricultural use beneath solar panel installations. This initiative has emphasized scalable dual land use through technically coordinated infrastructure.ย
