India-based Jakson Engineers Limited, a subsidiary of the Jakson Group, has recently delivered 100 MW of PV modules to Gujarat Industries Power Company Limited (GIPCL) for its 2.375 GW Renewable Energy Park in Gujarat. According to Jakson, the delivery included approximately 190,000 units of its Helia Plus bifacial PERC PV panels, manufactured by Jakson Solar Modules and Cells. The company is also investing INR 2,000 crore to install a 2.5 GW solar cell manufacturing fab, and it plans to increase its PV module production from 1.2 GW to 2 GW. Initially known for diesel generator manufacturing, Jakson Group has evolved into a diversified energy solutions provider. The company now operates in areas such as distributed energy, solar power, alternative fuels, energy storage systems, and renewable EPC services.
