JA Solar & Terawat Energy to expand solar module supply in Thailand

JA Solar, a Beijing-based producer of high-efficiency photovoltaic products, has partnered with Thailand’s Terawat Energy, a provider of solar equipment and distribution services. According to the Memorandum of Understanding signed recently, both the companies partnered to expand cooperation in Thailand’s solar energy sector. JA Solar said the agreement has been intended to increase the availability of its Tier 1 high-efficiency modules across the country. Terawat Energy stated that the expanded partnership is expected to support rising demand for advanced solar technologies in Thailand. As per the agreement, Terawat Energy will continue to serve as a key distribution channel for JA Solar’s products nationwide.
