China-based solar technology company, JA Solar has participated in the Solar & Storage Live KSA 2025 event, presenting solar modules developed for Saudi Arabia’s energy market. JA Solar has displayed its DeepBlue 5.0 series featuring Bycium+ 5.0 n-type passivated contact cells with 24.8% conversion efficiency. JA Solar also introduced DesertBlue modules designed for desert environments, using nano self-cleaning surfaces to improve reliability under high temperatures and dust exposure. In addition, JA Solar showcased Anti-Dust modules with a patented frame structure intended to reduce energy loss and maintenance needs. The exhibition underlined ongoing efforts to adapt photovoltaic technologies to regional environmental conditions and support the country’s growing solar and storage deployment.
