JA Solar & Exel Solar sign 260 MW module distribution deal in Mexico

A 260 MW module distribution deal between JA Solar and Exel Solar will bring 650 W DeepBlue 4.0 Pro TOPCon modules with 23.3% efficiency to Mexico’s solar market.

JA Solar, a China-based PV manufacturer, has signed a 260 MW module supply agreement with Exel Solar, a major solar distributor in Mexico. The deal is announced at RE+ Mexico 2025, aiming to provide reliable PV solutions suited to Mexico’s diverse climate. JA Solar will supply its DeepBlue 4.0 Pro modules which incorporate TOPCon technology. These models have a maximum power output of 650 W and an efficiency of 23.3%, also providing optimal performance in high temperatures and low-light conditions. As per Exel Solar, its distribution network will facilitate the deployment of these modules in residential, C&I sectors across Mexico.
