China-based solar energy company, JA Solar has celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2025. It has reached over 280 GW in cumulative module shipments by Q1 2025. JA Solar maintains an annual production capacity exceeding 100 GW for modules, with over 80% wafer and 70% cell vertical integration. The company introduced high-efficiency technologies such as n-type Bycium+ cells with 27% mass production efficiency and DeepBlue 4.0 Pro modules for varied applications. It holds 1,899 patents and has contributed to industry standards. Its operations also include support for education, disaster relief, and infrastructure in underdeveloped regions through nonprofit collaborations.
