JA Solar, a China-based manufacturer of PV modules, has signed a strategic module supply agreement with Australian solar innovator 5B during the All Energy Australia 2025 exhibition. The agreement covers more than 100 MW of JA Solar’s DeepBlue 4.0 Pro modules for a large-scale solar project in Western Australia. According to JA Solar, the collaboration builds on years of technical cooperation aimed at integrating its high-efficiency modules with 5B’s prefabricated Maverick solar system. The Maverick system, designed for rapid and cost-effective deployment, is certified to withstand wind speeds of up to 93 m/s. As per 5B, combining the Maverick design with JA Solar’s modules has reduced installation timelines, improved system durability, and enhanced project returns under Australia’s challenging environmental conditions.
