Business Mauritius, and International Solar Alliance (ISA), launched a two-day SolarX Accelerator Programme in Mauritius to support 35 solar and renewable start-ups across Asia and the APAC region. The programme offers mentorship, investor networking, and funding access to participating companies. This programme is co-hosted by ISA and Business Mauritius, with sponsorship from Currimjee Group, Eclosia Group, ENL-Rogers Group, and The Mauritius Commercial Bank Limited. The ISA, co-founded by India and France in 2015, is a global body that promotes solar energy and energy security across 123 countries. The launch comes at a time when clean-tech solar investment in developing countries has declined by 20% compared to the previous year.
