Insolation Energy has announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Insolation Green Energy, has secured multiple solar power projects totaling 226.45 MW. These projects are secured under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evamUtthaanMahabhiyan (PM KUSUM) scheme, requiring an investment of INR 750 crore (~ $82 million). Insolation Energy received letters of intent from Jaipur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited for 20 sites and from Ajmer Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited for 115 sites, covering a total of 135 project sites. These projects, falling under PM KUSUM Component A, will generate power at tariffs ranging from INR 2.60 to INR 3.04 per unit, depending on site allocation. Insolation Energy will design, supply, install, commission, operate, and maintain the plants, which are scheduled for completion by 2026–27. Launched in 2019, the PM KUSUM scheme was extended to March 2026 to support decentralized solar growth, with Component A alone targeting 10 GW of small-scale solar capacity across India.
