Inox Neo Energies, a subsidiary of New Delhi–based Inox Clean Energy Ltd, has signed agreements with Evergreen Power Mauritius and Evergreen Renewables to acquire a 640 MW wind-solar hybrid portfolio in Maharashtra. The portfolio has comprised five projects tendered by SJVN Ltd and NTPC Ltd, namely SJVN Hybrid 01 at 60 MW and SJVN Hybrid 02 at 60 MW. It has also included NTPC Hybrid 01 at 200 MW, NTPC Hybrid 02 at 200 MW, and NTPC Hybrid 02 Green Shoe at 120 MW. These projects were developed under special purpose vehicles controlled by Evergreen Group and are connected through CTUIL 400/220 kV substations. Inox Clean Energy has stated that the acquisition expanded Inox Neo Energies’ operating capacity and strengthened its integrated strategy combining solar manufacturing, hybrid power generation, and third-party electricity sales.
