Italy-based Innovo Renewables has acquired 11 ready-to-build photovoltaic projects with a total capacity of 66 MW. The projects include agri-voltaic systems and are in Lombardy, Tuscany, Lazio, Abruzzo, and Puglia. Construction is scheduled to begin in summer 2025, with commissioning expected by early 2026. The acquisition supports the company’s goal to reach 150 MW of projects by mid-2025. A €30 million (~$31.82 million) investment from Aviva Investors, increasing its stake to 45%, further supports Innovo’s development as an independent power producer in Europe.
