UK-headquartered Innova has sold the 12 MW Park Hill Energy Extension to AlphaReal. The project is located near Arbroath, Scotland, and expands the existing 4 MW Park Hill Solar site. Park Hill Solar was acquired and optimised by Innova before being sold to AlphaReal in 2022 as part of the Innova Energy portfolio. The extension was awarded a Contract for Difference in allocation round 6 in September 2024. The CfD provides long-term contracted and inflation-linked cashflows for the project. Alongside this award, five other Innova solar projects also secured CfDs. The divestment marks a continuation of Innova’s development and sale strategy. Both companies had earlier collaborated on the operational Park Hill Solar project. The extension strengthens AlphaReal’s solar portfolio while completing Innova’s planned exit.
