JMK Research & Analytics Pvt Ltd, an India-based cleantech consulting firm, released its Monthly RE Update – June 2025 highlighting solar manufacturing developments. Sunkind Energy, an Indian solar manufacturer, has partnered with JA Solar and ConfirmWare to build 2.4 GW of cell and 8 GW of module capacity. INA Solar is developing a 3 GW solar cell line in Madhya Pradesh in collaboration with S.C. Exact Equipment Ltd, a China-based PV equipment supplier, with commissioning expected in FY27. Ahaan Solar is set to commission 600 MW of a planned 2 GW TOPCon module plant in Haryana, co-located with a 3 GW hydrogen unit. Solarium Green is establishing a 1 GW module plant in Gujarat with a capital investment of ₹70 crore (~ $8.4 million), and operations scheduled for Q4 FY26. Citizen Solar has signed an MoU with China-based Jinchen Machinery to set up a 2.4 GW TOPCon module line targeting domestic and export markets.
