Lithuania-based energy company, Ignitis Renewables has signed an agreement to completely acquire of Nord Wind Park’s shares. The hybrid power plant in Lithuania includes a 200 MW wind farm, a 50 MW solar farm, and a 20 MW (80 MWh) BESS. The project is set to secure grid connection capacity, while due diligence procedures are still ongoing. As per Ignitis Renewables, further development decisions will be based on evaluation results. The agreement is expected to close within a week, with no further announcements planned. Ignitis Renewables has stated that it retains the right to seek restitution within 90 days if specific conditions arise. The company said that the acquisition aligns with its strategy to expand green energy capacity from 1.4 GW in 2024 to 4–5 GW by 2030. According to the company, the transaction does not impact the Group’s 2025 Adjusted EBITDA and Investments guidance.
