Iberdrola España, a renewable energy company headquartered in Spain, has reached 1,000 shared solar communities recently. Since its launch, the shared solar community model by Iberdrola España has enabled over 100,000 households to access clean energy without rooftop panels. The company said that residents within 2 kilometers of a shared installation can participate without making any upfront investment. As per Iberdrola España, Madrid leads with 170 installations, followed by 148 in the Valencian Community and others in Extremadura.
