At the International Digital Energy Expo (IDEE) 2025 in Shenzhen, the China Energy Research Society, Global Solar Council and Huawei Digital Power hosted the Global Low-Carbon Industry Forum. Leaders from governments, utilities and companies discussed how all-scenario grid forming technology supports renewable energy integration. The forum launched the all-scenario grid forming initiative to reduce the energy divide and deliver reliable renewable power. Huawei Digital Power’s Hou Jinlong said grid forming, AI, and product quality were key for stable wind, solar, and storage use. Experts from China, Latin America, ASEAN, and Europe explained regional energy transitions and grid stability issues. Examples from the Philippines, Xizang, Spain, and Germany showed how grid forming projects are being applied in practice across different power systems.
