China-based Hinen partnered with SED Group at Solar & Storage Live Africa 2025, held from March 25–27 in Johannesburg, to showcase residential solar-storage systems addressing South Africa’s energy crisis. In 2023, the country experienced 332 days of power outages, impacting 60 million people and reducing GDP by 5–10%. With 2,500 annual sunshine hours, solar adoption grew with government incentives. Hinen introduced the 6 kW Hybrid Inverter H6000-EU and 5 kWh Low-Voltage Battery B5000, featuring 190% PV oversizing, hybrid integration, IP65 protection, low noise, modular expansion, rapid charging, and extreme temperature tolerance.
