Photon Energy, a solar energy and clean water solutions provider, signed a contract with Greenvolt Power, a global wind, solar, and energy storage developer. The agreement was to manage Greenvolt Group’s 57 MW Királyegyháza solar power plant in Hungary’s Szentlőrinc district. The contract included handling operations such as contract management, owner representation, reporting, project management, and technical management. The plant covered 75 hectares across Királyegyháza, Szentlőrinc, and Kacsóta. Photon Energy, based in Amsterdam and Budapest, managed over 1.1 GW of solar capacity in Central and Eastern Europe and Australia. In Hungary, it oversaw 400 MW of solar assets, with additional contracts expected. The company is planning to expand its portfolio by the end of the year.
