At Intersolar Europe 2025 in Munich, AIKO, a China-based photovoltaic module manufacturer, signed 500 MW of supply agreements focused on its n-type ABC technology. AIKO stated that a 200 MW agreement was signed with GBC Solino, a distributor based in Austria and the Czech Republic. GBC Solino will supply the modules to EPCs and installers across Central and Eastern Europe. The ABC modules are known for high output, shading tolerance, and resistance to hotspots in distributed solar systems. AIKO said the modules are suitable for CEE markets where reliable performance is required. The agreements indicate rising demand for back contact technology in Europe’s distributed solar segment.
