US-based GameChange Solar was featured in The Wall Street Journal regarding Saudi Arabia’s large-scale renewable energy rollout. The Kingdom was developing major solar farms and battery projects to reach its target of generating half its electricity from clean sources by 2030. GameChange Solar’s Genius Tracker systems were used in desert conditions of heat, sand, and wind. The company has launched a manufacturing facility in Dammam in 2024, which was already expanding. Andrew Worden, CEO of GameChange Solar, said Saudi Arabia’s renewable plans initially seemed ambitious but had since become a key solar market.
