European Energy completes its second major PV divestment in the US

After divesting Project Yellow Viking (300 MW), European Energy has recently completed its second major US solar divestment, reaching 800 MW of total PV capacity sold.

European Energy, headquartered in Denmark, has completed the divestment of its largest US utility-scale solar project, bringing total US divestments to 800 MW since 2021. After divesting Project Yellow Viking (300 MW) in Texas in 2023, the company has continued its strategy of developing, delivering, and reinvesting in new renewable projects. The newly divested solar park is expected to generate 1,389 GWh annually, supplying power to approximately 128,000 US households. European Energy has established its US presence in 2021 and has been expanding operations.
