United Kingdom -headquartered Enviromena has acquired the fully consented 40 MW Rock Farm solar project near Ludlow, Shropshire, from Anglo Renewables. The facility has secured a Contract for Difference in Allocation Round 6 and is planned to connect to the grid in 2026.The project is expected to power over 16,000 homes each year and reduce more than 7,500 tons of emissions. It also includes planting trees, adding wildflower meadows, and keeping sheep grazing to help local wildlife. A community benefit fund was also agreed to assist local initiatives. This transaction followed Enviromena’s acquisition of Steeraway Solar Farm in June and has marked another step in expanding its UK utility-scale solar portfolio.
