Emerge, a joint venture between Masdar and EDF Group, has signed an agreement at IDEX 2025 to develop a 13.25 MW solar PV plant at Tawazun Industrial Park (TIP) in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The project will feature an 11.5MWp ground-mounted system and a 1.75 MW carport, expected to offset 14,064 tonnes of CO₂ emissions annually, equivalent to removing the emissions of over 25% of TIP’s current residents. Emerge will provide turnkey solutions, overseeing installation, operation, and maintenance for 25 years. The agreement was signed in the presence of key representatives from Masdar, EDF, and TIP. Construction is scheduled to begin in late 2025, further strengthening the UAE’s commitment to clean energy solutions.
