Bahrain-headquartered The Electricity and Water Authority (EWA) finished installing a solar system at the Khalifa City water station in Bahrain. The system has a 1.4 MW capacity and sends extra power to the national grid. It includes 2,032 solar panels, a self-cleaning feature, and control systems. This is the eleventh EWA site using solar power. The project supports Bahrain’s plan to use more renewable energy and improve efficiency as part of its Economic Vision 2030.
