China-based PV module manufacturer DMEGC Solar, has recently participated in Intersolar Mexico at Centro Banamex, Mexico City. Continuing its ongoing strategic goal of increased visibility and presence throughout Latin America, DMEGC Solar has announced its line of high-efficiency solar module products. DMEGC Solar has also established partnerships in Brazil and plans to commence its first commercial operations in Colombia later this year in 2025, thus accelerating its regional expansion consistent with strong market conditions and policy support. The event highlighted Mexico’s status as a regional solar development hub, as the Federal Electricity Commission has initiated an $8.177 billion grid investment targeted to accelerate renewable capacity from 13.6 GW to 16.7 GW by 2030. Earlier this year, DMEGC Solar became the only Tier 1 manufacturer to achieve DIBt certification within Germany.
